Augh. The lower case. The framing. The lamps. Love it.
Sure, it’s some upscale outdoorsy shop on King W, but hey, it looks pretty.
Alright, I know: not exactly the most fancy sign in the world, but look at that hand-painted love. Right beside Peach Berserk, I can admit honesty in the sign.
They might want to expand their inventory, though.
Good combination of signage to point to an otherwise missable coffee shop. I pass by Little Nicky’s coffee this on my way to the Silver Snail from work.
Kind of embarrassing that I got my finger in this photo. I’ve passed by the Horseshoe many times, but have never went in. Maybe I should fix that soon.
Happy weekend.
I’m a sucker for black-on-white signs, and the simple icon of this restaurant just does it for me. On my way to a LAN party, so I didn’t get to stop in the Royal Elephant - might have to in the future.
I mentioned yesterday that I was on a trek for a microphone, and this is where I found it. Moog Audio actually forgot to put the mic in the box from the display case, so I had to make a second trip there before they closed. Womp womp.
Waltzed down Queen West in a quest for a condenser microphone (more on that later); ran into a couple awesome stores on the way. While it’s not exactly the best example of typography, Peach Berserk is just too kick-ass to ignore.
Took a couple days off last week; sadly I didn’t queue up as many as I thought would be sufficient. In return, have some Robo.
I tried Cool Hand Luc grilled cheese as an alternative to Reggie’s once. A little pricey for what you can essentially make yourself, and their soups/sandwiches/ice cream menu choice is a little weird. However, you gotta enjoy the custom logo.

It took me a long time to get to this place, but I pass by it every day when I walk to the streetcar from work. I love the color and the type of the sign; definitely to be expected from a place named “Image Works”.
